Two Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) members assigned to Police Station 8 (PS8) were relieved earlier this week, following an order from Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6).

According to PRO-6 spokesperson, Police Superintendent Gilbert Gorero, Police Officer 1 (PO1) Kriscel Mae Doctora and PO2 Ryan Sagon were relieved and are temporarily posted to BCPO headquarters.

Doctora was earlier involved in an incident where she allegedly pointed her service firearm at a civilian during an argument along Lacson Street.

Sagon, meanwhile, was involved in the death of a 17-year-old boy suspected of robbing a scrap shop in Barangay Tangub last month.

Gorero added, the two have since been disarmed and were relieved in order to prevent them from influencing the ongoing investigation process.

The police officers presently face both criminal and administrative charges./DGB, WDJ
