The Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) recently passed a number of resolutions geared towards expressing appreciation for those who took part in the recent MassKara Festival.

One such piece of legislation commended members of law enforcement involved in Task Group MassKara, who were in charge of maintaining peace and order during festivities.

“Their invaluable service contributed to the overall success of the 38th Bacolod MassKara Festival,” the resolution read.

The additional resolutions thanked the barangays that participated in the Electric MassKara Performing Floats Competition and the Arena Dance Competition.

Barangay 22 defended their Electric MassKara Performing Floats competition this year, while Barangay 18 cleaned up in the barangay category of the 2017 MassKara Festival streetdance competition./PLL, WDJ
