2017 UniGames: USLS wins the men’s table tennis competition

The University of St. La Salle (USLS) men’s table tennis team, comprised of John Paul Gubaton, James Saligumba, Rhomar Dasilao, Joemar Junio, and coach Marell Lagunday (center), recently won the men’s table tennis competition of the 2017 UniGames, defeating San Beda College.

The University of St. La Salle (USLS) recently won the men’s table tennis competition of the 2017 University Games (UniGames) in Dumaguete City, which ends this weekend, defeating San Beda College at the Negros Oriental Convention Center.

John Paul Gubaton won the first singles match; however, James Saligumba dropped his match. The doubles tandem of Rhomar Dasilao and Joemar Junio helped deliver the win for the Bacolod City school.

Meanwhile, the ladies’ team placed third in their event./JSG, WDJ
