An argument between three people ended in a fist fight and a stabbing at Purok Boulevard, Barangay 14 in Bacolod City, yesterday morning.

Police identified the victim as 37-year-old Alex Camingawan, a resident of the said barangay.

Based on a report by Police Station 1 (PS1), Camingawan, along with the suspect identified only by his alias ‘Tongko,’ were sniffing rugby when a misunderstanding erupted between the two.

A fist fight erupted, which was later broken up by bystanders and resulting in Tongko returning home.

However, Tongko and another suspect, also identified by an alias, ‘Dagol,’ returned and stabbed Camingawan, striking him on the left portion of his body.

The two suspects immediately fled, while Camingawan was rushed by bystanders to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for treatment.

PS1 are currently conducting a follow-up operation against the suspects./DGB, WDJ
