The Iloilo provincial government and Iloilo National High School (INHS) signed a memorandum of agreement earlier this week to allow senior high school students to acquire work experience at the Capitol.

“This is now the highlight of the senior high school program,” said INHS Principal and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Nordy Siason. “[Students] will get to experience working for an institution.”

Under the agreement, 10 graduating senior high school students, specializing in animation and information technology, can work 80 hours in an assigned provincial office, beginning in their second semester.

Through the program, the provincial government seeks to develop a work immersion module specifying goals and objectives, desired outcomes, and how these outcomes will be achieved./WDJ
