A total of 744 low-income senior citizens from Bacolod City each received their second quarter social pensions during a ceremony at the BAYS Center yesterday.

A total of P1.116M was distributed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), with each recipient receiving P1,500.

The distribution was facilitated by the Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD).

The agency is also planning another distribution event today at the BAYS Center for another 555 beneficiaries./WDJ
