This year’s University Games (UniGames), set to take place in Dumaguete City, begins on Sunday, October 22, and is scheduled to run until October 28.
Opening rites begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Lamberto Macias Sports Complex, with Filoil CEO Raffy Villavicencio and Philippine Super Liga President Ramon Suzara expected to attend.
Participating schools will compete in 10 sporting events, including men’s and women’s athletics, badminton, basketball, chess, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, and beach volleyball; alongside men’s football and sepak takraw.
