Four suspected thieves and carnappers were arrested by operatives of Police Station 2 (PS2) after conducting a raid at Purok Cagaycay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, Wednesday morning.
Police identified the suspects as John Michael Lo, Jebbert Villanueva, Glenn Arnaiz, and Reynold De Guzman.
PS2 commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, said, prior to the operation, the suspects allegedly victimized a house along 18th Street at Purok Nangka, Barangay 3, where they carted away a mobile phone and two laptop computers.
The victim, whom he did not name, managed to identify the suspects and reported the incident to PS2, which later organized a follow-up operation leading to the arrest.
Cops recovered the stolen items; three motorcycles; and several chopped motorcycles, which are believed to have been stolen.
All four are facing theft and carnapping charges and are presently detained at PS2./DGB, WDJ
