Two men were killed after their motorcycle crashed into a stopped dump truck in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Tuesday night.

Police identified the fatalities as 32-year-old Dennis Flores of Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2, Bacolod City; and Harold Malihoc of Cadiz City.

Talisay City traffic investigator, Police Officer 3 (PO3) Jade dela Cruz, said both Flores and Malihoc, originating from Hacienda Lino Lizares in Barangay Matab-ang, were heading towards city proper when they accidentally hit the back of a stopped dump truck.

Both victims were rushed to a hospital in Bacolod City, but they were declared dead on arrival after sustaining fatal head injuries.

Dela Cruz added, both victims were under the influence of liquor when the accident happened./DGB, WDJ
