Store owner gunned down by three unidentified men

A store owner died after being shot by three unidentified men at Purok Cereza 1, Barangay 27, Bacolod City, late Saturday evening.
Police identified the fatality as 43-year-old Guimaras Villalba, a resident of the said barangay.
Investigators from Police Station 4 (PS4) said Villalba was attending to his sari-sari store when three unidentified men approached him. The suspects opened fire, striking the store owner several times, and fled the scene.
Villalba’s family rushed him to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH), where he was declared dead by hospital staff.
Investigators recovered two unidentified slugs, three fired bullet casings, and the victim’s cap and slippers from the crime scene.
PS4 are still determining the motive behind the incident./DGB, WDJ
