The National Police Commission (Napolcom) recently named the Molo Police Station the best police station in Iloilo City.

Molo Police Station commander, Police Chief Inspector Marlon Valencia, credited their success to Oplan Tokhang and the Pulong-pulong sa Barangay program, where police officers visit barangays to listen to concerns and discuss solutions.

Meanwhile, Valencia was also named best chief of police, alongside La Paz Police Station chief, Police Senior Inspector Rey Sumagaysay.

The award was part of the department’s annual inspection and management audit./WDJ
