2017 D’League Orange-AA Electrical beats Algeria Farm, 98-77

Orange-AA Electrical defeated Algeria Farm, 98-77, earlier this week in the ongoing 2017 D’League at the STI-West Negros University gym.
The eventual winners took an early 22-20 lead in the first period, which extended to 43-34 by halftime.
Despite pulling to a 76-49 lead in the third quarter, Algeria Farm managed to rally back into the game, however, in the end, it was not enough to overcome the deficit.
Nicole Medina led the win with 15 points, followed by Renier Palomares with 13 and Mic Jara adding 12.
Despite the loss, Boknoy Locsin scored a massive 24 points for Algeria Farm.
In the other game, BAPRO beat Bacolod Basketball Club-Toby’s, 99-80.
Bacolod Basketball Club-Toby’s took an early lead in the opening quarter, following 11 points from Alcher Joaquin and 10 from Marvin Tan.
They held on to a narrow lead at the half, hanging on to a 41-40 advantage.
Tables turned in the third period, when BAPRO went on a 33-13 run, capturing a 73-54 lead going into the fourth quarter, where they went on to take the win.
Malvin Pineda led BAPRO with a total 18 points, followed by Andrew Escalo and Miguel Sayson, who scored 10 each./WDJ
