Fil-Sino Inter-Color Basketball Tournament

Royal Star Trading recently defeated Sweet Crystals Sugar, 77-71, while Basecom beat the Huminova Tigers, 81-61, in the ongoing Fil-Sino Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.

Royal Star Trading opened the game with a big 21-6 lead in the first period, which was later reduced to 43-33.

Going into the final period, the eventual winners led 62-51 and held on despite a 15-point effort from Ceasar Tan and Matt Deles of Sweet Crystals Sugar.

Arnol Laureño led the victors with 20 points; followed by DK Equipaje with 12 points, Caesar Noble – 11, and Livingstone Ang – 10.

In the other game, Yan Yan Dy led Basecom with 18 points, followed by Efraim Valencia with 16 and Toffel Tan with 10./JSG, WDJ
