A shoplifter was arrested by Talisay City police after allegedly victimizing a local supermarket in Barangay Zone-12, Talisay City, Thursday morning.
Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Rowena Baldomero, a resident of Purok Tumpok, Barangay Mandalagan in Bacolod City.
Talisay City police said Baldomero was caught trying to steal two pieces of canned powdered milk, worth almost P1,000, by the supermarket guards.
They said the guards immediately notified police, who arrived a few minutes later to take her into custody.
They added, Baldomero is facing theft charges and is presently detained at the Talisay City Police Station./WDJ
