AACI Trading defeated JSY Transport, 79-76, in the ongoing Fil-Sino Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.
The eventual winners took a commanding 52-29 lead going into halftime; an advantage they held on going into the fourth quarter, up 71-52.
The comeback attempt by JSY Transport fell short by a few points.
Carlo Chu led AACI Trading with 17 points, followed by Mark Binguan with 16. Despite the loss, Arvin Gustilo led JSY Transport with 18 points.
In the other game, Silver Dragon Transport beat AACI Transport, 77-73.
Much like the prior game, Silver Dragon Transport held the lead throughout the game; however, they went into the final quarter with a smaller 56-52 lead.
Brian Coo led the victors with 21 points, followed by Joshua Co with 13. However, Kenneth Ymalay dropped a total 23 points for AACI Transport./WDJ
