The Iloilo City Health Office (CHO) held a tobacco control forum for barangay captains earlier this week at the City Hall penthouse.

“We want the public to be aware of diseases caused by smoking, not only to their lungs but to other parts of their body,” said CHO Tobacco Control Coordinator Barbara Hortillo.
CHO head, Dr. Bernard Caspe, led the forum, where he discussed the disadvantages of smoking; while CHO Health Educator Yasmin Noble talked about how to quit smoking, and Hortillo spoke on the hazards of smoking, along with second and third hand smoking./WDJ
