Three people were arrested following a joint buy-bust operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOrPPO) in Barangay Manipis, Tanjay City in Negros Oriental, Wednesday afternoon.
Police identified the three suspects as 24-year-old Kevin Roy Miraflor, 23-year-old Mark Aguilar, and 19-year-old Gerald Miraflor, all residents of the said barangay.
Tanjay City police recovered three plastic sachets of suspected shabu from the suspects, along with the P500 marked money used for the operation.
Law enforcement agents also recovered several mobile phones and two motorcycles.
All three are facing illegal drugs charges and are presently detained at the Tanjay City Police Station./WDJ
