Last week, Task Force Kasanag (TFK) reiterated their support for federalism by signing an agreement with the Save Our Language through Federalism (Solfed) organization in Iloilo City.
The signing was conducted between TFK national commander John Chiong and Solfed head Dante Liban.
According to Chiong, federalism is the only way to minimize corruption.
Last month, following a federalism forum in Isabela, Negros Occidental, the TFK leader declared, “We support federalism because each state will have independence unlike the present setup of government, where everything is centralized in the national government and in Metro Manila.”
Meanwhile, Chiong said his group, alongside Solfed, will be hosting a federalism forum on Saturday, October 7, in Roxas City, Capiz./WDJ
