Nena’s recently defeated Capitol, 85-73, keeping the latter winless in the ongoing 2017 D’League at the STI-West Negros University gym.
The eventual winners took an early 18-13 lead in the first period, which extended to a 43-22 advantage going into the break.
Despite a 19-13 run by Capitol in the third quarter, Nena’s kept the lead throughout the second half.
Remo Taronas led the victory with 20 points, followed by Badong Perez with 18./WDJ
