One person was killed after a group of fishermen was attacked by unidentified gunmen in Barangay Bagong Silang, Don Salvador Benedicto, Sunday evening.
Police identified the fatality as 21-year-old Robert Selendron, a resident of Purok Bayabas in the said barangay.
Based on a report by the Don Salvador Benedicto municipal police, Selendron, alongside Reynald Selendron and Mario Dulman, were fishing along the Bago River when gunmen began firing at them.
As the three fled the area, the victim was shot in the head, dying immediately.
Police are currently investigating the incident and looking into a possible motive into the incident./WDJ
