Three individuals suspected of hold-up incidents in Barangays Mansilingan and Alijis were arrested Thursday night through a follow-up operation by Police Station 7 (PS7).
Authorities identified the suspects as Crisanto ‘Toto Bulong’ Primavera, Jerry ‘Bebs’ Arabello, and Ronniel Antiqui, all residents of Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City.
PS7 chief, Police Senior Inspector Ramel Sarona, said the three suspects first struck a store in Barangay Alijis. Two of the suspects entered the store, where they pointed a gun and threatened a victim with a knife. Police refused to name the victim.
The robbers made away with a mobile phone and P800.
The three later victimized a woman in Barangay Mansilingan, whom police also refused to name.
The woman fled the scene, leaving her bag behind.
Recovered from the three were a blue motorcycle, a mobile phone, a .38 caliber revolver with six live units of ammunition, a jungle knife measuring approximately 15 inches from tip to handle, assorted sizes of plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, and other drug paraphernalia.
Sarona also appealed to the public to come forward if they were victimized by the said suspects.
The three currently face charges of robbery; illegal possession of firearms; and violations of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
