Robbers strike Montevista and Granada in one day

Two people were victimized by a pair of robbers that struck both Barangays Montevista and Granada in Bacolod City on Wednesday.
Police identified the victims as 24-year-old Glenda Mae Lardera, a resident of Block 4 Homesite, Barangay Montevista; and 23-year-old Ernesto Santos, Jr., a resident of the Patricia Homes Subdivision, Barangay Granada.
According to Police Station 4 (PS4), Lardera visited the station to report a robbery at Block 3 Homesite, where two unidentified men aboard a motorcycle pointed an unknown caliber of firearm at her and a friend.
She reported a Samsung J7 mobile phone worth P10,000 stolen.
Meanwhile, Police Station 5 (PS5) reported Santos was robbed by suspects of a similar description, however, they were able to identify the gun as a .45 caliber firearm.
Santos reported his Vivo Y53 mobile phone worth P6,000 stolen.
After the victims confirmed identities through a Rogues’ Gallery, authorities named the suspects as Alex ‘Rondoy’ Barreto and Teddymar Carmona, both residents of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City.
Both police stations are currently conducting follow-up investigations./WDJ
