A total 24 colleges and universities have confirmed participation in this year’s University Games (UniGames), which runs from October 22 to 28 in Dumaguete City.
The schools include Adamson University, Arellano University, Cebu Institute of Technology-University, Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, De La Salle University, Foundation University, Hercor College, Holy Angel University, Jose Maria College, Mindanao State University-Tawi-Tawi, National University, Riverside College, Rizal Technological University, Saint Louis University, St. Theresa College, STI-West Negros University, University of Mindanao, University of Mindanao-Tagum, University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, University of San Jose-Recoletos, the University of Sto. Tomas, and the University of St. La Salle.
The schools will compete in 10 sporting events, including men’s and women’s athletics, badminton, basketball, chess, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, and beach volleyball; alongside men’s football and sepak takraw./WDJ
