A delivery man was robbed by two pairs of riding-in-tandem suspects in front of a basketball court at DC1, located at the Regent Pearl Homes Subdivision in Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City, Monday.
Police identified the victim as 52-year-old Eliseo Lagatang, Jr., a resident of Purok Acacia II, Barangay Pahanocoy in the said city.
The victim was accompanied by a co-worker at the time of the incident, however, that individual remains unidentified.
Police Station 7 (PS7) said Lagatang was delivering dressed chickens with a co-worker when four unidentified men, riding-in-tandem aboard a black Yamaha Sniper and a Suzuki Raider, pointed an unknown caliber of firearm at the victim and declared a hold-up.
The suspects forced Lagatang and his co-worker to give up a mobile phone worth P1,500, along with P21,000 in cash, before fleeing the area.
Currently, PS7 is conducting a follow-up operation into the identification and apprehension of the suspects./WDJ
