Three wounded in Ilog collision

Three were wounded after a tricycle and a Ceres bus collided along the national highway at Crossing Ambush, Barangay Manalad, Ilog, Negros Occidental, Sunday morning.

Police identified the injured as 45-year-old tricycle driver Francisco Tabucon, 37-year-old Jay Estosa, and 38-year-old Alano Matunding, all residents of Barangay Camugao, Kabankalan City.

According to Ilog Municipal Police Station traffic investigators, Tabucon was driving his tricycle, with Estosa and Matunding as passengers, when he entered the opposite lane of traffic and collided with an oncoming bus, driven by 40-year-old Joeann Doronila.

The three were rushed to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City for treatment.

Doronila is currently detained at the Kabankalan City Police Station./MIS, WDJ
