The Negros First Taekwondo Association of Negros Occidental (NFTA) was recently created, in an effort to recruit talented taekwondo athletes from across the province.

Negros Occidental Provincial Sports Coordinator Angel Verdeflor was named NFTA president, while Benson Fernandez was appointed secretary-general.

Coordinators were also named in each of the province’s six congressional districts, along with taekwondo coach Vic Feria serving as adviser./WDJ
