Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) recently won the Milo Passarelle provincial qualifier for the third year in a row, defeating the University of St. La Salle (USLS), 79-59, at the Negros Occidental Teachers’ Federation covered court in Bacolod City.
“This was a total team effort, from management all the way to the coaches and players,” said BTTHS head coach Dexter Dy. “Rookies MJ Beatingo and Nathan Jundana made solid contributions, while Ryan Tan and Elijah Kee played their roles by limiting the production of USLS.”
With the win, BTTHS will represent Negros Occidental at the Milo Passarelle regional tournament in Iloilo from October 7 to 8./JSG, WDJ
