A total of 65 Iloilo City Community College (ICCC) students passed national certificate examinations administered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-Region VI (TESDA-6), last month.
They have undergone competency, skills and credibility training at Technical Institute of Iloilo City (TIIC) Molo Campus, which offers courses such as food processing, driving, carpentry, masonry, automotive, electrical, and massage therapy to the youth.
Among the disciplines covered by the certificates include travel management and event management.
“The certificate will serve as a proof that they are skilled and competent,” said ICCC Administrator Maria Mathilde T. Octavio. “It’s also a great advantage when applying for a job.”/WDJ
