The Lopue’s Table Tennis Association (LOPTTA) earned a total five gold, one silver, and two bronze medals at the 26th Erne Jawad Table Tennis Cup, which ended over the weekend at the Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
Among the gold medal winners included Micah Tanate, Stephanie Reign Villanueva, and Kylie Sofia Villanueva in the 18-Under girls’ team division; John Michael Castro, Niel John Lauren, Matthew Tolentino, and Elmer Locsin in the 18-Under boys’ team division; Marell Lagunday in the open women’s singles division; Villanueva in the 13-Under girls’ singles division; and Castro in the 18-Under boys’ singles division.
The men’s open team of Mark Francis Jimenez, John Paul Gubaton, and Castro took silver after losing to the University of Cebu-A./WDJ
