
The Negros Occidental chapter of the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET) recently took part in a clean-up drive along the coastline of Barangay Tuburan, EB Magalona.
The event was organized by the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) and the Provincial Environment Management Office (PEMO), which also included a briefing emphasizing the importance of a healthy environment, delivered by PEMO Information Officer Olive Seruelo and Dr. Liza Paguntalan of the Philippine Biological Conservation Foundation.
Around eight sacks of waste and debris were collected.
Additionally, PAMET also provided financial assistance for the Tuburan Fisherfolk and Mangrove Development Association (TFAMDA)./WDJ
