Random drug testing for Iloilo City government employees recently began at the City Health Office (CHO).

According to City Administrator, Atty. Hernando Galvez, employees are given notice before their scheduled drug test.
He noted, refusal of a drug test is grounds for administrative charges.
Those who test positive will undergo a confirmatory test with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region VI (PDEA-6) crime laboratory, Galvez added./WDJ
