Zumba competition Electric Zumba sa MassKara is set to take place from October 20 to 21 as an official MassKara Festival event.

According to a release by the Bacolod City government, groups of at least 10 members will compete along the Tourism Strip, which runs along Lacson Street, from 2nd Street to North Drive.
An estimated 13 groups from Bacolod City and nearby cities have registered for the competition.
Groups are required to dance to official 2017 MassKara music.
The Electric Zumba sa MassKara Champion will win P20,000 cash and receive an official MassKara trophy; while awards for Biggest Delegation, Best in Electric MassKara Zumba Outfit, Best in Choreography, Most Energetic, and Best in Banner will also be given out.
Meanwhile, the Silver MassKara Festival Organization gathered Zumba instructors at the Bacolod City Government Center over the weekend for an event orientation./WDJ
