Sweet Crystals Sugar beat Basecom, 74-70; while Royal Star Trading defeated the Huminova Tigers, 67-46, recently in the ongoing Fil-Sino Athletic Club Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.
Basecom led throughout the game, with the score getting as close as a one-point margin at the half. However, despite going into the final period up 47-43, Sweet Crystals Sugar managed a come from behind victory.
Marc Lo led the comeback with 20 points, followed by Ceasar Tan with 16 points and Matt Deles with 14.
In the other game, Caesar Noble led Royal Star Trading with 11 points, followed by Brix Arrobang and Edward Uy with 10 each.
Despite the loss, RB Chua managed to score 18 points for Huminova Tigers./WDJ
