The 8th National tripartite Conference for Cooperative Development will be meeting at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City next week, from September 20 to 21.

According to Iloilo City Cooperative Development Officer Lito Jusa, there are 93 registered cooperatives in the Iloilo City metropolitan area and, noted, the conference seeks to strengthen relationships and coordination between co-ops, local government units, and the private sector.
Expected to attend are Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri and Cooperative -National Confederation of Cooperatives (Coop- NATCCO) party-list chair Orlando Ravanera.
The event expects to attract around 2,000 delegates./WDJ
