The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist will be launching the Farmers Market sa Kapitolyo this Friday, September 15, at the Provincial Capitol driveway. The event will become a bimonthly occasion, taking place every second and last Friday of the month.

In an effort to showcase and promote the products of local farmers, goods such as root crops, fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish, among other items, will be available for sale.
Wholesalers can also use the opportunity to build connections with local farmers in order to acquire a supply that is both long-term and sustainable.
The Negros Occidental provincial government hopes the farmers market contributes to enhanced food security./WDJ
