The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Iloilo provincial government was yesterday named regional grand winner for “Best PESO in the Western Visayas” by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for the third year in a row.
Provincial Administrator Raul Banias received the award on behalf of Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor, Sr. during the 6th Regional Career Advocacy, Employment, and Human Resource Congress at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City.
Banias praised PESO-Iloilo head Francisco Heler, Jr. and the department’s staff.
The office will next be a consideration for the 2016 National Search for Best PESO in a 1st Class Provincial category./WDJ
