Abang Lingkod won the 1st Mayor Neil Lizares Super Liga Basketball Tournament at the Talisay City gym over the weekend, defeating Miggies in the finals, 91-84.
John Nermal, who was named “Most Outstanding Player,” led the winners with 19 points, followed by Renz Solomon with 16. However, despite the loss, Nike Montalvo delivered 26 points for Miggies.
Team Gab, meanwhile, took the consolation match, beating Fyr Fyter/VTN, 89-84.
Jan Jan Pastias led the victors with a massive 38 points, followed by Erwil Sun Santos with 21.
Nermal, Solomon, and Santos were also named into the “Mythical 5,” alongside Arwin dela Peña of Miggies and Sonny Abaring of Fyr Fyter/VTN./WDJ
