A barker was stabbed at Purok Lubi-Phase 3, Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City early Sunday morning.
Police identified the wounded individual as 36-year-old Celmo Makilan, while the suspect was found to be 32-year-old Jonard Pagalilawan; both are residents of the said purok.
According to a report by Police Station 10 (PS10), the station received a call reporting the stabbing around 5:30 a.m.
Makilan was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment after being stabbed in the chest, towards the upper portion of his left nipple; his upper back; his lower left abdominal area; and his left leg.
Meanwhile, Pagalilawan reportedly fled the scene.
A hot pursuit operation is currently being conducted by PS10 towards the apprehension of the suspect, while investigators are still probing a possible motive into the stabbing./WDJ
