Three were arrested in a buy-buy operation at Galo-Mabini Streets, besides the Barangay 22 Hall in Bacolod City, Friday afternoon.
Police identified the primary target as 54-year-old Ramon Bertudez, a resident of Barangay 34 in the said city. He was arrested alongside Mary Grace Sernal and Virgilio Lopez, both of Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City.
According to a police report, the operation was conducted by Police Station 1 (PS1), who recovered three plastic sachets of suspected shabu, money, and drug paraphernalia.
PS1 commander, Police Senior Inspector Leo Estopa, noted, Bertudez had previously surrendered to authorities under Oplan: Tokhang.
The suspects are currently detained at the custodial facility of PS1 and face charges in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
