Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) acting director, Police Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky, said Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Chairman Jose Jorge Corpus indicated his content with the anti-illegal gambling campaign in Bacolod City.
According to Wanky, following a presentation by the BCPO regarding the said campaign last week, the PCSO chairman encouraged the BCPO to proceed with their anti-illegal gambling initiatives.
Wanky added, Corpus also released a memorandum to be on guard for any “Peryahan ng Bayan” operators in the city, as it is considered an illegal numbers game.
Last week, Wanky ordered the arrest of operators of the said game./WDJ
