Diocese of Bacolod resident exorcist and Diocesan Commission on Liturgy director, Rev. Fr. Brethen Rye Gamala, told Watchmen Daily Journal, in an exclusive interview yesterday, local Catholic faithful must be wary of the reported proliferation of “satanic” or “cursed” rosaries, earlier announced by the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).
He said there have not been any reports of demonic rosaries in Negros Occidental, nor have they received reports regarding demonic attacks.
Gamala advised locals to immediately see a priest if they possess a “cursed” rosary, in order to have it prayed upon before disposal.
Earlier this week, Libera Nox, or Office of Exorcism, chief exorcist, Fr. Ambrosio Nonato Legaspi, stated cursed rosaries are being given away by satanists, popularly referred to as the “Illuminati.”
Legaspi explained the said rosaries have been “prayed over” by its makers, which consecrated them for evil, resulting in its user being followed by evil entities.
According to the CBCP, satanic rosaries are not noticeable to the untrained eye, pointing out they would include symbols such as a snake wrapped around the cross, a pentagram, and/or a sun with rays, which is the insignia of the Illuminati./DGB, WDJ
