Ten people were arrested following a buy-bust operation on an alleged drug den at Purok Cagaycay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, late Tuesday evening.

Police identified the main subject of the operation as Kristoffer Arquillo, a resident of the said barangay.

Police Station 2 (PS2) commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, said they arrested Arquillo, alongside nine individuals caught inside the drug den, after the suspect handed one sachet of suspected shabu, in exchange for P200, to a police poseur buyer.

Cops recovered 12 small and 10 elongated sachets of suspected shabu from the suspects, and suspected drug proceeds amounting to P260.

The market value of the seized items is estimated to be around P15,000.

All 10 suspects are facing illegal drugs charges and are presently detained at PS2./DGB, WDJ
