The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) issued a warning to the Catholic faithful yesterday surrounding the proliferation of “satanic” or “cursed” rosaries.
Libera Nox, or Office of Exorcism, chief exorcist, Fr. Ambrosio Nonato Legaspi, stated cursed rosaries are being given away by satanists, popularly referred to as the “Illuminati.”
Legaspi explained the said rosaries have been “prayed over” by its makers, which consecrated them for evil, resulting in its user being followed by evil entities.
The exorcist claimed one such case resulted in the exorcism of a Catholic faithful after they reported paranormal disturbances in their home.
He explained, an exorcism must be conducted if paranormal experiences are reported.
“Not just an ordinary blessing where water is just sprinkled – as most priests commonly do – but to use the Catholic ritual,” Legaspi said. “That would frighten the demon away.”
According to the CBCP, satanic rosaries are not noticeable to the untrained eye, pointing out they would include symbols such as a snake wrapped around the cross, a pentagram, and/or a sun with rays, which is the insignia of the Illuminati./DGB, WDJ
