Isabela man found dead in Binalbagan

A man who watched over a hacienda in Talisay City, Negros Occidental was shot dead Sunday morning along the highway in Barangay Marina, Binalbagan.

Police identified the victim as 56-year-old Rolando Hemosa, a resident of Barangay Guintubdan, Isabela.

According to Binalbagan Municipal Police Station chief, Police Chief Inspector Anthony Grande, Hemosa was on his way home from a funeral when he exited his vehicle while along the said highway.

Witnesses claim the victim was shot by a single unidentified individual.

Recovered from the crime scene was an empty shell from a .45 caliber pistol.

Grande said police already have a lead and are still conducting an investigation into the identification and possible arrest of the suspect./MIS, WDJ
