J’ Trend Controls defeated Antones Lines, 79-68, to win the 1st Bing Uy Soyao Memorial Cup over the weekend at the JGC Gym in the Goldenfield Commercial Complex.
Bert Celis led the team with 21 points, 14 of which were scored in the final period. Also contributing to the victory were John Tumamot with 15 points, Edmund Sibaya – 13, and Rex Bayer – 12.
Meanwhile, Judge Marketing won the consolation game by default after their opponent, Baciwa, arrived late./WDJ
