According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), after Tropical Storm (TS) Jolina made landfall in Luzon Friday evening, Negros Occidental is expected to experience a rainy weekend.
The storm is expected to enhance the southwest monsoon, which could bring light to occasionally heavy rains in Negros Occidental.
TS Jolina has recorded maximum sustained winds of 80 kilometers per hour (kph), with gusts reaching 95 kph.
Meanwhile, PAGASA also issued storm warning signals across several areas of Northern and Central Luzon.
