Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) acting director, Police Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky, identified two suspected illegal gambling operations in the city, while speaking before the regular session of the Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) earlier this week.
He named retired policeman Senior Police Officer 1 (SPO1) Rex Noble and Edgar Tulikoy as illegal gambling operators, after authorities received complaints from small town lottery (STL) operator Super Lucky Beaglers.
The STL operator said they have reported decreased income due to illegal gambling.
According to Wanky, Noble claimed to have ended his illegal activity; meanwhile, the BCPO is currently validating allegations Tulikoy is still conducting illegal gambling operations through a collaboration with an unnamed mayor from central Negros.
He added, another police officer, identified as George Bejemino, is also said to be linked to illegal gambling./WDJ
