Alongside Mary Angeline Alcantara of the Hanah Taekwondo, Arianne Espida of the Negros Taekwondo Union makes it two Negrenses on the Philippine taekwondo team set to compete in the 3rd World Cadet Taekwondo Championships in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, which began yesterday.
Espida will be taking part in the 37-kilogram division, with the category scheduled to compete on Sunday, August 27; while Alcantara will be competing in the 44-kilogram competition, set to commence tomorrow, August 26.
Also on the team roster are Gerianne Kendall Therese Pineda, Lex Joshua Provido, Mico Gabriel Chua, Raphael Ongkiko, and Richard Jude Cajulis./WDJ
