Hotel employee robbed while riding a taxi in Bacolod City

A hotel employee in Bacolod City was robbed early Tuesday morning by riding-in-tandem suspects while aboard a taxi at 13th-Lacson Streets in Barangay 7.
Police identified the victim as 21-year-old Criselda Jhyn Marasigan, a resident of La Paz Street, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
According to Police Station 2 (PS2), Marasigan was riding a taxi when two unidentified riding-in-tandem suspects blocked the taxi’s way and pointed an unknown caliber of firearm at the driver and demanded the passenger give them her belongings.
The victim reported a black and white wallet containing P300, two ATM cards, two IDs, and a mobile phone were taken from her.
A follow-up investigation is now being conducted by police into the identification and possible arrest of the suspects, with authorities noting one of the suspects is reportedly a minor./WDJ
