Environmental forum held at UNO-R

A total of 286 students attended and participated in the recent environmental forum at the UNO-R gymnasium.
PENRO enforcement section chief Don Gandarosa and PENRO technical services chief Celiz Neng discussed topics including environmental law and climate change.
The program sought to strengthen awareness of environmental issue among senior high school students, with hopes it would motivate them to become involved in environmental protection programs.

The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R), following a memorandum of agreement with the Negros Occidental Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR-PENRO), recently conducted an environmental forum at the university’s gymnasium.

A total of 286 students attended and participated in the forum, which sought to strengthen awareness of environmental issue among senior high school students, with hopes it would motivate them to become involved in environmental protection programs.
